Visitor Information Centre
The Visitor Information Centre is located at Battery Hill, 1.5km east of the Highway along Peko Road.
You may pick up free brochures and vist the display on Tennant Creek's gold mining history.
Activities include nature walks, a machinery walk, rustic displays, films and tours.
The Centre is open:
- May to September - 9.00am to 5.00pm seven days a week
- October to April - 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday
- Public Holidays - 9.00am to 5.00pm
- Saturdays - 9.00am to 12.00 noon
