Goals:

• A community that respects and nurtures our culture and heritage.
• All cultures living in harmony.

Strategies:

• Improve the librarys' electronic provision of information.
• Conduct a series of civic events.
• Sponsor a series of activities that celebrates the town's cultural heritage.
• Conduct periodic surveys to monitor community opinion on Council's services and direction.
• Conduct activities that increases the capability of the elected members.
• Target external Boards that are relevent to Council's operations and seek membership.
• To use the Shire transition process to build community capability.
• Foster and maintain cooperative and harmonious relations with Federal and Territory Governments.

Outcomes:

• Library transitions to an information service.
• A variety of civic events are conducted.
• The town celebrates its cultural heritage.
• Positive community stakeholder engagement.
• A support system is in place for the Elected Members.
• Council's representation on advisory boards and committees is maintained.
