Disabled Parking Permits are available to people who are able to provide satisfactory medical evidence from their doctor.
To provide satisfactory medical evidence you may either:
- Ask your doctor to write a letter outlining what your disability is and if it is temporary or permanent; or
- Ask your doctor to complete a form available from the Council. Click here to download a form.
There is a fee of $5.00 per permit.
If you are successful in your application for a Disabled Parking Pemit, you must display it at the lower, left hand side on your front windscreen whenever you use your vehicle.
The Permit is transferable form vehicle to vehicle provided the vehicle is being used by the concession holder
Where Council finds that any person is misusing a concession or the concession no longer appiles, Council reserves the right to cancel or suspend the concession.
